At this point we inform you about the processing of personal data during your visit to our website. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as "data subject").

    2. Applicable law

This data protection information covers data processing in accordance with the provisions of the currently valid version of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the currently valid Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG), which came into force on 10.9.2023, together with the associated Data Protection Ordinance (DSV).
The DPA applies to data protection issues that have an impact in Switzerland, even if they are initiated abroad. The GDPR essentially applies to the processing of personal data of data subjects located in the Union by a controller not established in the Union.
The term data processing (in accordance with the DPA) is used below as a synonym for the term data processing in accordance with the GDPR.
In principle, data processing at PXL Vision is carried out in accordance with the principles of the GDPR, unless otherwise specified. Accordingly, processing in accordance with Art. 6 GDPR is carried out on the basis of corresponding authorization standards, which also ensures permissible data processing in accordance with the principles stated in Art. 6 FADP.

We do not use sensitive customer data for this (e.g. only the industry or country which we were able to identify via an analysis service provider (Leadfeeder (see below)). f. Information on the use of cookies, pixels and similar technologies

This website uses these cookies to create the best possible user experience and to provide us with statistical information on demand and user interests.
In particular, we use so-called retargeting techniques. This enables us to reach users of our website again on other websites and platforms and to present advertisements via advertising networks, i.e. providers of online advertising banner spaces. The pixels mentioned below are integrated into our website for this purpose. These identify users via cookies or user IDs of the respective network and add them to target groups which we can then use to display advertisements on the respective network. In addition, the advertising networks use the data to create so-called "lookalike audiences", i.e. to create target groups with users with similar profiles. You can stop the collection of data at any time by changing your cookie preferences with us, using an ad blocker or deactivating JavaScript. Unfortunately, we do not have access to the data already collected by the advertising networks after you have given your consent, but you can delete it directly from the provider. You can find more information on this here: https://optout.networkadvertising.org/?c=1

    g. Social plugins
This website uses so-called "social plugins" from the social networks Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), Xing (XING SE, Dammtorstrasse 30, 20354 Hamburg, Germany), LinkedIn (LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).
Even if you are not a member of one of the social networks, it is possible that they will find out your IP address via the social plugin and may store it. We have no influence on the scope of the data collected in this way by the operators of the social networks. If you are logged in to one of the social networks at the same time, the operator can assign the corresponding calls to your account with the respective social network. If you also interact with the social plugins, i.e. click on the "Like" or "Share" button, for example, the respective social network processes the corresponding information. For details on the purpose and scope of data processing, collection and use by Facebook, Google and LinkedIn and your rights and setting options in this regard, please refer to the respective data protection notices:
If you do not want social networks to collect data about you via our website, do not click on the buttons. You can also block the social plugins using add-ons for your browser.

    h. Hyperlinks to websites of other providers
We have placed links on our website to websites of other providers. We are not responsible for data processing on these websites. Please refer to the privacy policies of the respective providers to find out how they handle data protection.

    4. Data protection advisor / data protection officer
PXL has appointed its own expert and legally qualified employee as data protection officer, who regularly checks compliance with data protection regulations
The data protection advisor can be contacted by e-mail at privacy@pxl-vision.com or by post at the address of the office responsible for processing.

    5. Technical and organizational measures
When processing personal data, PXL uses state-of-the-art technical and organizational measures to protect this data against loss, destruction, unauthorized access and unauthorized disclosure. (Art. 8 FADP, Art. 32 GDPR)
To ensure compliance with the technical and organizational measures, PXL Vision operates an information security management system (ISMS) that has been certified in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001:2013 by independent third parties and is regularly reviewed by internal and external audits. Part of this ISMS is a data protection concept, which includes a constantly updated procedure directory and, if necessary, data protection impact assessments.

    6. Your rights

Within the meaning of the DPA and the GDPR, data subjects have the following rights:

    a. Rights of access and rectification
    • You have the right to obtain information about your processed data (Art. 25 FADP and Art. 15 GDPR).
    • You have the right to have incorrect personal data corrected or incomplete data completed (Art. 32 FADP and Art. 16 GDPR).
    • Under certain legal conditions, you have the right to have your personal data erased (Art. 32 FADP, Art. 17 GDPR).
    • You have a right to restriction of processing under certain legal conditions (Art. 32 FADP, Art. 18 GDPR)
    • Under certain legal conditions, you have the right to receive or transfer the personal data concerning you (Art. 28 FADP, Art. 20 GDPR)
    • You have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation remains unaffected by the revocation. You can declare your revocation by sending a message to privacy@pxl-vision.com.
Alternatively, you can send your request in writing to the above address. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. You can contact the competent data protection supervisory authority for this purpose.

    b.Your right to object

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data which is based on Art. 31, Art. 6 (1) f) GDPR, including profiling based on those provisions. We will then no longer process your personal data for these purposes unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. You can submit such objections to us using the contact details provided. If we process your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of this personal data for the purpose of such marketing; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is associated with such direct marketing. We will then no longer process your personal data for this purpose.

    7. Places of data processing

In principle, we only process your personal data in Switzerland, Germany and the European Union.
