Proof of identity from PXL Vision optimised and certified for ZertES and eIDAS signature processes
Zurich, April 9th 2025 - PXL Vision, the Swiss premium provider of high-converting digital identity verification solutions, has adapted and optimised its identity proofing solution PXL Ident for qualified electronic signatures. The new product, called PXL Ident for QES, has been successfully certified by KPMG as an identity proofing service and is therefore compliant with Swiss (ZertES) and European (eIDAS) legislation. PXL Ident for QES is now available on the Swisscom signature platform for QES processes. With PXL Ident for QES, users can now identify themselves to Swisscom for legally valid electronic signatures. This makes Swisscom the first trust service provider to integrate PXL Vision's product as an identity proofing service provider. As usual with PXL Vision, no app download is required, ensuring high conversion rates.
The Swisscom Trust Platform offers qualified electronic signatures for various digital transactions and contracts. Companies using the platform can rely on verified identities to issue qualified electronic signatures (QES). The qualified electronic signature (QES) has the same legal status as a handwritten signature in almost all legal cases in accordance with the EU eIDAS regulations and the Swiss Signature Act ZertES. It guarantees the integrity of digital documents and authenticates the identity of the signatory.

About Swisscom Trust Services
Swisscom Trust Services is one of the leading European providers that issues qualified electronic signatures or seals in the jurisdictions of the EU (eIDAS Signature Ordinance) and Switzerland (ZertES Signature Act). As the leading provider of trust services in Europe and certification services in Switzerland, Swisscom Trust Services enables its partners to implement pan-European digital business innovations: without media discontinuity, fully digitised and legally compliant. In times of cybercrime, Swisscom Trust Services also makes a significant contribution to the sustainable and legally compliant digitalisation of trust - digital signatures and seals protect the integrity (unforgeability) and authenticity (genuineness and origin) of online transactions.
The embedded remote signature platform Smart Registration and Signing Service allows partners to easily and simply implement user-friendly e-signature or e-seal processes in their own business solution, taking into account industry-specific requirements and compliance regulations. The Multiple Authentication Broker included in the platform supports partner applications in the registration of authentication methods and identification of users for the use of e-signatures without additional audits.
Our digital identification, e-seal and e-signature products open up a wide range of innovative, seamless and paperless transaction options in the digital space. In the new digital trust economy, contracts, insurance policies, employment contracts, loan or leasing applications can be concluded online in a legally compliant manner, regardless of time and place, intuitively and online.
